Why bother making another pool? By this one and the comments in this section you can realize what the general opinion is regarding wipe withing the community. Just add them to the other factors (Financial, plans of development or whatever) and decide if it's worth it. This stand-by has done to much damage already ...

Today on trade chat it was wipe talk, here the same things are said on both sides. What's the point? I presume these pools are orientative, so the admin can make his decision, the votes were put in, so after this it goes back to the admin to decide what will be best for his server. Either way around half the people playing now will leave, but this discussion is not doing good! Newbies who came today for the first time see these wipe discussions, what could they be thinking?

I suggest this pool is deleted asap, and admin decides if it's worth risking a wipe or not considering all other factors (including this pool), and we players accept what we are offered or play something else

Until then I'm still playing with my cleric doing my second class quest .. you know ... LIVING LIKE THERE"S NO TOMORROW ! ) Either way I enjoyed the week I played here so far! Thank you for it!

Let's make a pros and cons list, shall we? this is what I can think about, please feel free to add points if you can think of other:
PROS FOR WIPE:
* Server will have a fresh start, with a possibility of changing the image
* Everybody will have similar levels again
* More BA members will be more active (so they say) and also there is a chance other will be more tempted to play (?maybe?)
CONS FOR WIPE:
* People that played here for almost a year will loose everything they have and have to start over again
* The chance of getting new people with a wipe is very small and some of the players before the wipe might get upset and leave resulting in close to no one playing
* Might ruin the server credibility as stable

Personally, I wouldn't want a wipe because I would have wasted these last few days playing (others have way more reason to be upset) but it's not the fact that others are high-lvl that scares me, but the fact that at higher levels when I will need parties I won't find anyone to go with.

I don't think the focus should be on SHOULD THERE BE A WIPE OR NOT, but on finding ways to get more people to play. IF a good campaign is intended following a wipe, then maybe it's not a bad idea, but if it's just done for the sake of doing it, then it will only do harm.

P.S: I would like to thank the BA member who PKd me several times in EG trying to convince me to vote for wipe. Instead of helping the community grow by helping newbies lvl faster and have people to party/pvp with them, it's easier to try to destroy it and hope the new one will be better, but why would it? Still, trying to change people's votes through intimidation, how east-European of you!

I do not support the idea of wipe without a good reason. You tried reopening the server and it didn't help much? I doubt opening it again with a wipe would bring many more, and even if in the moment it will bring some, one month from now the server will be in the same situation.
For me, I started playing 4 days ago, and if there's a wipe I will be to lazy to start over again on a server that a liability (since if you do wipe for no reason now, you might as well do it more times hoping you will have different results).
But this is just my opinion, maybe I'm wrong , best regards either way, Lenny
