Man, as I can see, you never tried to play x1.
Lineage 2 chronicle 1 is a game about full groups of no-grade equipped players conquering elven ruins. It's a game about crafting a Willow Staff. It is a world, where you can use shots only if you are at a siege or you are a dwarf, and where B grade is a fucking end-game content et cetera.

And it is definitely not tough when everybody can buy top D equip - BEFORE he reaches lvl 40, when there is an NPC that gives you a buffs and even soulshots are automated...
