I agree, this needs to be resolved asap because it is a severe imbalance in pvp.

why?

why i checked skills and aparently all elfs classes have some songs. its minor songs (not song of hunter) , only 2 songs at level 61 - 75

i think that dark elfs have some dances too.


So their self buffs have song actions? What skills have that action. I have had a SR and PR before and never seen any skill that resembles a song. I have also checked the skills on the prima guide and pm fun and checked with some friends on retail and they do not have any skills even remotely close to songs.

A friend and I were talking about how in c1 on retail we never lost to a dagger(i was DA and he was a destro) and we remembered YOU COULD CHAIN STUN IN C1. Yes, thats right a DA or destro or glad or dwarf could keep a dagger stunned... that was the balance...the dagger still hit like a truck, but the heavy armor classes ALL HAD STUNS that lasted 5 seconds and could not be broken by damage. The damage break was added in c2 ( i checked the official patch notes)

You want your fix, there it is, the solution is simple... let the server run the way retail C1 did.

You are right we do have to live with NCsofts mistakes (mistakes are all in the eye of the beholder) but there were not dagger mistakes till C2. In c1 dagger users were nowhere near as powerful as in C2. The problem we seem to have here is that this server is using a TON of Chronicle 2. The problem that occurred on the official servers was, when lineage updated from c1 to c2, ncsoft made it so that Pdef had very little effect on dagger skills ( this was not a problem in c1 or c3). I would hate to see the land rate of a daggers skill altered because that would change the ability to level the class. Seems to me that there has to be a way to look at the way the skill is effected by pdef and see if it can be altered ( the underwear might not be a bad idea if no other solution can be found). If it hurts the ability to lvl the character then it will cause people not to play the class at all. I personally think it should be left alone. Daggers are supposed to destroy at close range... the problem is that most people are not paying attention so a dagger will run up and gank them and they die... so because they weren't watching their back they think the dagger is OP. PLease keep in mind a dagger with sws and prophet buffs is going to be FAST and VICIOUS. I am only giving my opinion, i do not play a dagger and i haven't not been killed by one so i do not really know how they work on this server, all i can tell you is how it worked on retail.

I do not know how many of you played official lineage2 on the retail servers. I did, and i will say that daggers were really strong in c1 and OP in c2... if they are really strong then so be it because that is how they were on retail (as i said, my main was a tank on official retail server devianne)

You have to realize that some of the dagger classes like the abyss walker hit SUPER hard on their skills. If they have full prophet buffs and sws buffs and bd you might as well hope to God that you can chain stun, or you will die. Tanks are NOT SOLO PVPers in this chronicle.
