I recently got an information that there is an actual C1 server up. It is something I have been looking for for ages. I have spent years playing Lineage 2 on the official server, but since they introduced the later chronicles, I no longer liked it. Early chronicles were the best for me. I just made a character on this server. However, I need to ask a few questions which are important for me. I need them answered before I fully decide to dedicate lots of my time to this game on this server.

1) Will there be any wipes? If so, when would the earliest possibly be? (As we all know, L2 requires a lot of dedicated time. I would not want to spend months of playing to find out my character was wiped)

2) How is the server doing? Isnt there a chance that it will close soon? Do you expect it to run for a long time (years?). (I am asking this question for the same reason as number 1)

3) Are there any significant difference from official C1 server? (any differences in items? do monsters drop the same things as in official? does crafting / spoiling and everything work like in official? Does enchanting work the way it should? Do sieges work? is there the quest for rideable mount - the little hatchling which you need to level up to ride on it? What are some main differences between this server and old official C1?)

4) What are the biggest issues on this server? (are there any significant problems which negatively influence gaming experience?)

From the questions, you probably get the idea what I would like to know. As stated above, playing L2 C1 is a big committment which requires significant time dedication. I am ready to jump on the boat, but I need to be sure that it is not going to sink and that there are no holes in it...if it makes any sense

Thank you for any answers I can get. I am really excited about possibility to play C1 with reasonable rates (If it was any higher than 2x, I would not even consider it as an option)

2) Were here since 2011. this will stay not like many new servers
3) Its C1 but have some stuff from C2 , and even C4. siges work . old official C1: full of exploits , no dualswords , no raidboss , no B grade sets bonus , bad Pet / summon system , only quest until level 35. We fixed all those stuff
4) Biges issues right now: Dualbox and in my opinion we could have better population if rates increase but im not sure.
*More easy = more players , So easy = server death in 3 months , hardcore = only the braves stay
5) About dedication: get level 50x , and some C grade = youre a sir here. get level 60 + B grade = youre max player here

I read through the forum and I was wondering why people are asking for dualbox. For me, allowing dualboxing would be a negative thing, but probably not a dealbreaker. Definitely not something I would take advantage of. I like that it is not allowed.

As to the rates, I am really glad they are not higher than x2. As some people suggested in other threads, players looking for C1 server are not looking for the quickest way to max level, but rather a nostalgic experience of playing the good old L2. It is why I came here and will play on this server. Increasing the rates would probably drive me, personally, away. I cannot judge about its impact on the overall population though.

Again, thank you and see you ingame. I regret that I need to leave now for a week for a business trip just when I discovered this server. Will be looking forward the whole week to playing again . This server with its current settings seem to be a perfect place for me. I brought my friend, an old L2 player, as well, so you just won two new players. I read about this server in a message posted on MMORPG.com forum. Apparently, the marketing activities do work and are worth doing to attract new players.
