it aint better, but more oldschool and uncommon, cuz the private server player base mostly consists of ppl who have started at c1 or later chronicles.

actualy i would rather like to to start from prelude and move on a never expansion with the time.

Prelude and C1 are much alike, in fact C1 is an improved Prelude with more huting zones, aden town/castle, quest, some fresh bosses, gear and textures. Right now for me is not about differences its just playing a chronicle i neved had a chance to play before and bringing back some old memories.

I don't have much time in rlf to play, so I prefer a prelude server, where things are simple.
+ that it brings back old memories, when L2 was fun, not just a race to better gear.

In current chronicles (High Five) there are too many things to do , it takes months just to find out about all, then several months to get that gear.
Last month I started to play where I had played for the fist time l2 (Dex Romania) but it is so boring: cannot find a party because the parties are already established. They look for certain thing but you are too small to join them.

When I fist played L2 it was so beautiful: players running around in C grade. Just few were crafting B grade, and it was just about the party/XP/sieges/clan wars. You could do all that even with C grade....
