yeah i dont remember back in c1 if you could see buffs but that would be very nice to see when buffs are falling off

also about that this is pretty easy, a buffer first cast a buff on himself, or he keeps a timer 20 min and he knows when to buff ppl, or he can see his first casted buff on himself start fading so.. ta dah.. grp will need rebuff now:P

I think buff timers and showing Party member buffs/pet buffs would be very usefull, this doesnt change any gameplay mechanics just makes it easier for players. Like admin said in comparison to restoring an old car this is a 'problem' with this old car

Dwarves & summoners can keep time by seeing their pet's time fading away... When lots of ppl expeing 3-4 full-parties in one location.. even more with allies/clans. Perfectly every gnome CL or summoner is able to do this for many nearby friendly players. This was so designed by programmers of Lineage 2 when all locations and the other staff was put into game's server & client beforehand.
It also puts the additional need for dwarves and summoners on leveling making them as tanks (not so needed but desirable). BTW it's so ugly to see many twinks drawvs in giran or as twink CL or a twink spoiler (as you see game should in the correct way).
So one better needs to update client version to that in which party members

could see summoners life in party fading away (it is necessary, but not fading buffs.. big numbers and final blinking make it even worse).

So buff the dwarf firstly, others too to see summoner's lifetime.

the same problem by NCSOFT was solved in other way - orc teleporter becomes dancer with red feathers

idk about all that but nukers dmg def does need dropped! i think as far as the boar pet and all the cosmetic stuff, make it exactly how it was in retail c1. dont change stuff trying to make it better! just leave it alone

Is it my impression that mobs in giran do not grant lvls? its like normal mobs i though we were gonna test skills-pvp but i cant find a way to lvl up my character in giran, i tried creating a new character also but nothing, am i doing something wrong or...?

No normally you would kill the elpys to level and get adena, and the gremlins to get AA for gear but that is disabled at the moment =/ sorry! probably just gonna have to wait till friday -ish when the server is taken out of testing put live again.

this is not about making server better, this is about solving problems and bugs

in other hand you just do not know what is chronicle is
you think that it is "groundhog day" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Groundhog_Day_%28film%29) when everyday is the same and npcs are forbidden to live their own lifes

time in chronicle1 ticking, not standing still as in "groundhog day"
and it is ticking 6times faster. so if l2 is 10 years old, orc teleporter standing here for 60 years
and she got a little bit bored because all players gone to other chronicles
so she decided to get boar pet in order to get at least some little fun

can you up the chances of them turning blue? 1/5 is gonna make it VERY hard to farm for mats. make it like 3/5 or something middle of the road like that.

Also are we keeping class change quests? or are adding in the quest items for purchase? i think it would be fun to leave the quests. specially if you arent aloud to dual box. you have no need for 50 characters so doing 1-2 class change quests isnt that big of a deal. plus it makes you appreciate your character more!

For the most part L2C1 is the game I want to play. I was leveling my Oracle thinking I would get VR at level 30 because from the first time I played in retail that skill existed.
VR didn't exist in C1. While I was surprised I adjusted my gameplay accordingly and have had to make a strategic choice about my style of play.

I would like to see dwarves producing Soul / Spirit shot and the other classes consuming it ... dropping the base price of D-Grade items in Giran, Gludio, Gludin would be the best way to stimulate that.

This also eases the transition between D-Grade and C-Grade as by creating and crystallizing dual swords ... i.e. SOR*SOR you pin the C-Crystal price to a derivative of the D-Crystal price.

Mats, Crystals and the Giran shops are the engines of the L2 economy for a low population server.

Increase Spoil or drop rates for mats and lower the price of the D-Grade equipment found in the shops and you have a chance at a sustainable economy ... until B-Grade

I have no idea if that is possible but man I would love to see a Tarbar cost 1,000,000 adena instead of the 1,540,000 last time I looked.

Okey spoil finally 100% ok.

Example:
If hobgoblin have a 70% of chance to drop by spoil: this mean only 70% of times hobgoblin will get blue when spoiled.
If hobgoblin have a 160% of chance : he will get blue 100% of times

but forget about those who never leaved c1

in single-player game it is, where you leave there you loaded
in multiplayer after worldtime passed 60 years something must be changed, otherwise world is dead
the main objective is to keep original gameplay of c1


and finally your actions in game can change things the way you want
for example you can stole boar from teleporter and make her going away in order to find her beloved pet
then I think someone kill you and will return boar to the woman in order to keep gameplay in place
then you convince teleporter to sell boar and pay her 1000000 adena
I am sure this amount of money will help. Boar will be gone. And you will be happy.
Well, then teleporter will invest those money to savage dances lessons and will become redfeathered dancer as in C4
you will be unhappy again.............

maybe you will try to stole clothes of girl
and she will become dancer without the redfeathered clothes
you still will be unhappy
then you become ruler of this world
you will order poor girl do not dance on the job
and you will be happy then


so your mission clear - to become ruler, even more famous than baium
