Hi,
It seems that the quantity of an item put into pet's inventory is limited to 1, which means I am able to put only one piece of hatchling food into the pet's inventory, and it goes the same with any other stackable item (shots, potions, etc.).
Unless it was intended for some bizarre reason, it's a bug that requires fixing.

Problem: you cant move stacks to a pet.
Solution: drop stack to the ground and click "pickup" in pet control window
