I use win7 32bit system. I made like guide said (tc - win2000, l2.exe - win98). When i turn on my l2 everything is going ok. I put login/pswd, but when i choose server i got back to login screen and it says - Unable to connect to server.

hey filosofas do you have any msn to tell me how to make tc win2000 cuz i cant undestand where i do it ...

dont have msn, but its very simple. Right click on totalcommander and then press - properties - . Then choose compability tab. Then in COMPABILITY MODE check <run program in compability mode> and choose WIndows 2000

ty i did it now i open totalcmd to run l2.exe from there .. i did l2.exe win98 . but l2 window didnt opened:P

Found my problem. Something wrong with account. Other account works.

I have the same problem with my main character... i cant log in with Nicolas it happens to say "unable to conect" when i trick to pick the server.... Nothing unusual happened, i made restart and then got a critical the next thing i knew is that i get that problem...

well i have vista x32 i make totalcommander in win2000 but it can't open :/ it open with win vista only , i try to log with out tcm but no change :/ help plz

so totalcomander compatibily mode = winvista but l2 ??

try that
"totalcomander"= "Win2000"
"l2.exe" = "win98" If not work try with "winVista"


if wont work
try changin compatibily mode...

EDIT:
ah okey totalcmd can not run on win2000 mode ? u tried with the others? win98,winxp, etc.?
and for l2 win98

so l2=win98 and totalcmd try to run in all modes posibles

if no work the other way is install xp as second system keeping your current system

it won't do anything to my computer as format files ?

NO , no format files , u will kep your files and winvista system

the process is:
1 release disk space "srink volume"
2 Start xpsetup wizard
3 in xp setup u will see that:
were install xp?
partition1 - free space
be sure of pick free space follow install process
Done
4 enter on xp and restore MBR , now on your computer boot u can selec *winvista *xp
