Why is my game not in english? There are weird symbols on the monsters name and npcs.

Your L2font file is chinnese acording to the file you got in textures. because you did not installed the server patch:

EDIT: I installed the patch and still have the weird symbols, I could play a few days ago and I haven't done anything out of the ordinary. Now, whenever I try to log in, it says, "Protocol version is different. Please continue". Sometimes, it lets me go to character selection and start, but it wont get past the loading screen.
Am I missing something?
I fixed the symbols, I'm running the game through system now, I get the weird symbols if i run the l2.exe from systemc1 folder. However, after character selection I just get a black screen =/
