Veteran player returning to enjoy some nostalgia. I was thrilled to see this server in existence, me and a couple friends will be joining it for sure.
I'm trying to catch up with modifications to the server, herbs, quests and skill changes etc
I had a question about dual boxing, I clearly see the rules "no dual boxing" does this mean no boxed buffers at all, or no active dual boxing?
My wife will be playing as well, she wants to play a elven elder, will it be considered boxing if she is afk following me and getting xp?
I look forward to playing with you all

Hey Shame, even in here it says boxing not allowed, I've talked to GM and GM said that 1 box is allowed, so therefore your afk box or wife would be allowed wether or not it was an actual box
Welcome to this server, really brought me back some good feelings from back then in C1. It ain't the same but close enough =)

I was in Korean beta as well, I and my roommate were in love with Lineage when it came out and could not wait to play. We had to google korean addresses to sign up for it haha, than we waited forever to finally get the beta for NA, I was "phade" in closed beta, a dark elf - I got kicked out of Light elf town the day of open beta because we killed too many people in Light elf village and got yelled at by GMs.

I spoke to the GM and basically you are allowed main+1box for pve only (no dual box for pvp).
I think changing the description in the rules might help and might help bring more players. Everyone knows getting exp without buffs past level 40 on a hardcore server is not possible and this will act as the biggest deterrent for any new player looking to come here.

I second this, it was kind of confusing and almost deterring.

It used to be...that no box was allowed (that's why you see that rule everywhere). But over time, the rule was relaxed to allow 1 box (really GM said "I don't ALLOW it but I won't punish you about it").
Never use the Box to heal (or root or anything else) during pvp....Never have 2 or more Boxes...
...Many LARGE players are gone..from these 2 mistakes.

Photobucket is an image host. It's also basic bbcode (which is what this type of forum uses).

How else are you supposed to level a melee class without VR?

allowed pve support = allowing to heal myself and root monsters (if I decide to play an archer)?
