I think you can write but you had any problem during installation so you cant see the letters but you can write so you should be able
to loging
Did antivirus gived any warn during installation or download process ? if yes you should repeat again with antivirus disabled.
Remember install game patch also.

I totally unable to type only when Lineage 2 official (GoD: Lindvior) client is running. When I close it, I'm able to login C1 server.
But in all cases I unable to type in first 30 seconds after client loaded. I have no active antivirus runned.
I'll try login with unvisible letters and reinstall client and report you if it will help.

Make sure that you switched to english keyboard on pc
